NASA has sent its Artemis II crew of astronauts, three Americans and one Canadian, on a lunar trip as in such a journey they will go thousands of miles deep into space. This remarkable journey is an example of the bravery and hard working crew that is making a history in human life. The uniqueness of this trip is the diversity of the intelligent and brave members of the crew as one team took this challenging journey.
As NASA’s few Black astronauts in America, Victor Glover, joined the Artemis crew and bravely took the path to space as he saw his mission as “a force for good.” Yes, indeed, it is a force for good with Glover as a Black American astronaut becoming not only one of the Artemis II members crew for such a great journey but also his name will be printed on the history book for the next generations to read and learn from.
Obviously, like every other aspect in America, NASA will not succeed without Blacks as they are a major part in building America and serving humanity. Society, science, history, and overall life in America would not be completed without the contribution of Blacks and their diligent work to fill every corner of the country.
The astronauts of Artemis II are an example of a true human character and a strong mentality of the crewmembers, and it is a proof that all humans are equal and simply can align together in building America and serving humanity. Humans were not created as subjects to be discriminated against based on their race as the life of each human being has a meaning and is valuable per se.
Furthermore, Artemis II is the evidence that humans, instead of engaging in wars and bloodshed, are able to participate in discovering life and seeking answers for many mysterious aspects to understand life as God created it.
However, astronaut Glover, 49, with the other crew members of Artemis II can be the answer to a question, which is: Are human beings obligated to destroy and become each other’s enemies or they can become partners and build life? The fact is that human beings can shift life and bring peace as they desire, and there is no such an obligation for human beings to destroy.
The meaning of life is beyond destruction and discrimination, it is humanity with all races and ethnicities that define the beauty of life. NASA’s Artemis II showed that human souls are able to embrace each other and see beyond human conflict and political definitions that were created to limit and control the individuals to be surrendered to the will of a system that only sees one side of life.
There are more ways to rise and more opportunities for advancement that are not, and must not be limited, to one race. As astronaut Glover along with the Artemis II crewmembers is going deeper to space, it shows that all humans are connected and embraced by life with no discrimination.
