Ragnar is an eight-year-old English Golden Retriever who works at Oakey’s Funeral Services as a licensed therapy dog.
He is available by request for any family Oakey’s serves and regularly attends visitations, funeral services and private family gatherings at all five Oakey’s chapels in the Roanoke Valley with his handler Mitzi Oakey.
When he is not busy with those duties Ragnar spins his time traveling about the city with his best friend Kenneth Muse. Together they visit daycares, senior living facilities, festivals and more.
Most recently Ragnar and Kenneth took part in a dog show in Lynchburg VA where Ragnar won the metal shown in the above photo.
