On March 20, High Street Baptist Church celebrated their Family Night ‘Follow the Leaders’ program. The Distinguished honoree was Brenda Hale, Roanoke President of the NAACP who received the church’s annual MLK, Jr. Memorial Award for 2019.
The program also featured a questionnaire about the movie Black Panther’ and how the movie related to people’s lives. The questions came from the Baptist General Convention Annual session and generated informative responses.
