Hollins University has announced three senior leadership appointments designed to position the university for continued growth and long-term sustainability.
Kerry Edmonds, currently executive vice president and chief operating officer, has been named Hollins’ inaugural executive vice president and chief strategy and revenue officer. In the newly created position, Edmonds will lead efforts to identify new revenue opportunities, partnerships, and other strategies to support the university’s future.
Edmonds brings more than three decades of leadership at Hollins, with experience spanning finance, operations, capital projects, and institutional strategy. During her tenure as chief financial officer, Hollins’ endowment grew from $111 million to $350 million, while the university invested $70 million in campus facilities and infrastructure without taking on debt.
As part of the leadership transition, Ashley Browning, currently vice president for enrollment management, has been named vice president of administration and operations. Browning joined Hollins in 2008 and has led the university’s enrollment strategy and several initiatives to expand access and strengthen recruitment.
Madeline Aliff has been promoted to vice president for enrollment management. Aliff has held progressively responsible roles in Hollins’ enrollment division and has helped lead recent recruitment and enrollment initiatives.
“These leaders know Hollins, understand the opportunities ahead, and have demonstrated their ability to move the university forward,” President Mary Dana Hinton said. “Their leadership will help ensure Hollins continues to evolve while remaining firmly grounded in our mission.”
The appointments are effective September 1, 2026.
