We are excited to give you an opportunity to tour the world with a fork without leaving the country even without leaving the area!
Epworth and Halesford United Methodist Churches are sponsoring an [International Tasting] to be held August 11, 4-6 p.m. at Epworth United Methodist Church, 60 Merriman Way Road, Moneta, VA. The Tasting will be a time to sample cuisines from countries outside the United States. Each individual or business will have a table to showcase their country’s cuisine. Donors will be given 5 minutes to introduce their country and market their company.
In a diverse society, food provides an insight into culture. Epworth and Halesford UM Churches invite you to come and learn about our country and the diversity that we enjoy as Americans!
We are looking for cooks! You can support this exciting event by cooking and donating food to represent a country of your choice. This multi-cultural International Tasting is a time to become acquainted with and appreciate cultures that share our country, while enjoying samples of the food provided.
You are also cordially invited to attend the International Tasting as a taster! Donations for Missions will be accepted.

Think about the people you know. According to the above statistic, one out of every 6 households you know is food insecure. Do you want to help but feel overwhelmed? We believe “We Can Make a Difference!” We would like to ask your help in feeding our hungry neighbors.
