Good Samaritan Hospice is proud to share that Tina McGeorge, a devoted member of our hospice care team, has been selected as the recipient of the 2025 Kibler Cares Hospice Caregiver’s Award.
Presented annually by the Kibler Cares Board, this award honors caregivers who exemplify outstanding compassion and dedication to hospice care. The Coyne family, who experienced her care firsthand and described her as an extraordinary presence in their lives during a deeply difficult time, nominated Tina.
“Tina McGeorge is a very special person who lights up a room and brings so much joy to what are challenging, sad times. She always entered our mother’s room with a huge smile, love, and hugs, and treated her with the utmost respect. She quickly became like a member of our family, and we compared all other levels of care to hers.”
“Tina’s ability to bring light into the darkest moments of life is a rare gift,” said Deana King, Clinical Director at Good Samaritan Hospice. “She reminds us every day of the power of presence and compassion in end-of-life care.”
In addition to receiving the Kibler Award, Tina was also recognized as a 2025 Good Sam Hero for her exceptional and compassionate care. She also reached a significant milestone in July, earning her certification as a Certified Hospice and Palliative Nursing Assistant (CHPNA) and was officially pinned to mark the achievement.
