Local AKA Sorority engages in “Playground Project”

On Saturday, May 28, 2016, members of the Beta Chi Omega Chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. repainted the fence around the playground at Toadally Kidz Childcare Center. The activity was the local effort toward the international organization’s “AKA 1908 Playground Project.”  The sorority aims to restore and renew 1,908 existing playgrounds with its “Restore, Refresh and Renew Project.”

Carla Shepherd is Beta Chi Omega’s Program Chairman and Vice President. Pamela Edwards is the President.
