The Mildred Ann Rose Johnson Scholarship Fund awarded two Roanoke City Students with scholarships. The ceremony took place Saturday, July 18, at Shakers Restaurant located in Roanoke. Jonah will be attending VA Tech majoring in Aerospace Engineering and Matthew will be attending Cornell University majoring in Human Biology Health & Society. The family of Mildred “Corine” Johnson is very appreciative of all the support that the Roanoke Valley has given and to Shakers Restaurant for hosting the event.
