“Religion is dying out in every land,” was stated over a hundred years ago by Baha’u’llah, believed by Baha’is to be God’s Messenger for this New Day!

Among the evidences of this truth is the abdication of responsibility for one’s own life on the part of an ever-increasing number of people. To be no longer in charge of determining one’s destiny is to adopt a passive attitude towards life–an attitude devoid of self-discipline, initiative, volition and attainment. The inevitable consequence is yielding to the pressures of the old order and conformity to behavioral patterns which hasten its downfall. Such conformity has resulted in the absence of models of the high morals and aspirations set forth in the infancy of this (pre-destined model nation) by its founding fathers and subsequent administrative orders and institutions.

Laxity in adherence (or blatant non-conformance) to social, administrative and spiritual laws, however, has become so commonplace that even spiritual laws are constantly being challenged and changed to fit modern trends and preferred lifestyles. The strong family unit that once characterized the bedrock of this new nation, has fallen prey to teachings of today. This reminds us that ideal and model conditions are possible only when men and women have attained a sufficiently high degree of individual, social and spiritual development.

“To suddenly grant full trust and authority to someone who has neither education nor knowledge of the trust, is extremely dangerous and potentially disastrous–comparable, perhaps to one poignant definition of love as: “granting someone the power to destroy you and the trust that they won’t.”

What a sad testimony and disservice for the young couples of today who have so few models within individual families or within today’s family of man,

Today’s prophecy comes complete with Spiritual GPS for this New Day! One has but to “Follow your signs of Guidance.” (Investigate- 1-800-22UNITE)
