The Humble Hustle Company, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit organization, awards two students with a Gymnastics Scholarship. Terriona Dillard a rising 6th grade student was awarded the scholarship on May 26, 2016 at Roanoke Academy Elementary School during the 5th grade promotional ceremony and will be awarded again with the co-recipient Asia Johnson (rising 5th grade student) at the 1st Annual Youth Gymnastics Scholarship Luncheon.

The luncheon will be held at the Roanoke Academy of Gymnastics located at 3825 Hite St. SW on Saturday, June 11 between 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Two young, aspiring, African-American elementary aged girls will be honored with a yearlong scholarship to attend the Roanoke Academy of Gymnastics.

These two girls were picked out of a strategic application process where grades, essays, videos and references were deciding factors. The Humble Hustle Company, Inc. is thrilled to announce the tremendously exciting level 10 gymnasts, Suffolk, VA resident, Kourtney Chinnery as guest speaker.

Chinnery has already accomplished many great honors as a youth gymnast, one major achievement is her  full scholarship to Penn State University.

Chinnery, a 2016 Junior Olympic National Qualifier, continues to build on an already remarkable 2016 season.

Admission to the luncheon is free and donations are welcome. Proceeds from the event will benefit future youth gymnastic scholarships and will be used to further its mission of giving back to communities around the world. Primary sponsors of the first scholarship luncheon are Roanoke Academy of Gymnastics, Hamlar Curtis Funeral Home, Olive Garden, and community donations.
