Good communications is imperative and paramount to all forms of life whether marine, animal, insect, fish, fowl or human. Each species has its own manner or corresponding one with another with the biggest and most difficult occurring most likely among humans–supposedly the most intelligent of all.
Among nature in particular, each individually also understands how to transmit danger signals when a threat appears imminent. Seldom is there any likelihood of issuing false or deceptive warnings as theirs are natural, divine communications. Mankind alone, who has been endowed with intelligence superior to any other creation as he matures physically, mentally, scientifically and technologically, is capable of bending or affecting the elements and forces of nature to his will and therefore, until perfecting the art of Divine Communication beneficial to ALL mankind, is capable of changing “Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done” to a proverbial hell instead!
Communication between parents and other close relatives, teachers and children are therefore especially critical at earliest stages in preparation of their continuous exposure to ever broadening cycles and customs throughout life.
In today’s fast-paced mercenary society with its constant progression of enticing fantasy, it becomes increasingly difficult to impress children and youth to “dare to be different,” thus becoming beacons and strong examples of leadership and hope. At the root of it all is good communications and associates! Don’t be misled by trying to lift those who can eventually bring you down farther than you could ever lift them!
Unfortunately, far too many of today’s children are left to drift with environmental tides until some catastrophe washes them ashore against the sharp-edged rocks of life’s realities. This unfortunately is becoming more common each day as we witness the rising rates of depression, anxiety, attention deficit, thoughts of suicide and other conduct disorder signaling serious mental, emotional and behavioral patterns among today’s adults, adolescents and children. At the root of it all is simply the lack of good communications–with some trustworthy, dependable individual(s). Within this unique Roanoke Valley, however. can be found several such well organized and orchestrated organizations that provide year-round nurturing and programs for youth and young adults.
Ranking high among them is the Roanoke Branch NAACP youth group under the loving and professional guidance of President Brenda Hale and Gloria Randolph-King (see related articles in this week’s issue, page 3) This, coupled with increasing support from families, friends, related churches and other institutions will, through the Divine Art of respectfully pooling dialogues and strengths, continue to keep Roanoke high on the list of promoters and builders along the Pathway to World Peace!
