With the theme “You Are Royalty” The Roanoke Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will sponsor its annual Jabberwock scholarship fundraiser at 8:00 p.m. for Friday, April 21, in Jefferson Center-Shaftman Performance Hall.
Featured this year will be four “Miss Jabberwock” contestants; Ashley Guerrant, daughter of Anthony and Sherry Guerrant; Kenai Hunt, daughter of Dawn Hunt; Tiana Keeling, daughter of Toni Keeling; and Sade’ Woodliff, the daughter of Tim Woodliff. Each contestant vying for the title and crown will have a Jabberwock escort (pictured above).
An added feature this year will be four “Little Miss Jabberwock” contestants who will also vie for a title and crown. They are: Remilekun Davies, daughter of Revonda Barber and Nathanial Davies; Zare’ Yana Gammon, daughter of Matt Gammon and Tiara Gammon; Micah Stacy, daughter of Madell Stanley Stacy and Michael Stacy, and contestant, Jaelin Vernon, daughter of John and Angelia Vernon.
Please come out to support this worthy cause of showcasing the talents of our youth while funding our annual scholarships. Tickets are $25ea. with kids, age 5 and under, free!
