Performing Arts Championships Competitions

The Annual Performing Arts Championships Competition will be an Olympian Event on Global Scale in (Hollywood, CA) when Singers, dancers, jugglers-you name it will be ready to strut their stuff for the judges at the 20th Annual World Championships of Performing Arts®, set to take center stage July 7 – 17, 2016 in Long Beach, California – “Hollywood at the beach!”  

This international meet is often cited as the official “Talent Olympics” for aspiring performers and entertainers, and the only event of its kind held annually in “Hollywood,” the entertainment capital of the world.

Selections for official contestants will be held in the U.S., Canada, Caribbean, Central and South America, Europe, Asia and South Africa.

“Contestants from over 50 countries are expected to participate,” says Griff O’Neil, competition CEO and a former executive of the Miss Universe Pageant, “vying for ‘the gold’ PLUS a total of $400,000 in scholarships:  $30,000 from the Millennium Dance Complex, $150,000 from the New York Film Academy, and $200,000 from the New York Conservatory for Film and Television and 20,000.00 from record producers! Additionally there is a prize package worth $15,000.00 in cash and gifts to be award to the Junior and Senior overall winners.   Thousands of people around the world will apply to participate in 2016.”

On Sunday afternoon, March 13, 2016, Salem’s Andrew Lewis Middle School will host the search for talent in the Roanoke market.  The X-Factor style competition will qualify talent to compete on Team USA against the World.  One lucky winner will win the top prize (valued at $2000.00) of a full entry scholarship and training package to compete in Long Beach this July.  Others will qualify and receive an invitation to represent Roanoke on TEAM USA with partial scholarships.  The Roanoke Competition Entry is Free!!
