For the fourth consecutive year, Showtimers Community Theatre will present a production of original skits and short plays with a holiday theme. This year’s show, A Song of Christmas, will be presented as a benefit for Toys for Tots. With cast members from ages 5 to 15, these humorous skits by local writers, as well as other holiday-themed material, will delight audiences of all ages.

The more than 30 people involved in this production (writers, actors, directors, designers and crew members) are donating their time and talents for this show-–production costs are being covered by Showtimers of Roanoke Valley, Inc. All proceeds go directly to Toys for Tots.

Admission is a new, unwrapped toy or a cash donation to Toys for Tots–to be collected at the door by Marines. Performances will be presented at the Showtimers Theatre, 2067 McVitty Rd., SW (just off Rte. 419, across from Keagy Square Shopping Center.

Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 11-12; and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 13. Reservations are not required but may be made by calling the theatre at 774-2660, Monday-Friday during office hours, 1-5 p.m.

Please come join in helping Toys for Tots ensure that every child has a toy and A Very Merry Christmas this year!
