Treachery by leaders fosters contempt for law and incites weak-minded citizens to become laws unto themselves.
Trump’s behavior on January 6, 2021, more than anything else, obviated his right to vie for the presidency of the United States, let alone sit in that seat, irrespective as to what his Supreme Court says.
“The human race will have no respite from evils until those who are really philosophers — e.g., possessing the highest level of intellect, wisdom and morality and operating for the benefit of all the people — acquire political power or until, through some Divine Dispensation, those who rule become real philosophers.” (Socrates)
If Trump were to wake up tomorrow, assert his deliverance from evil, and resign the presidency — as he should — I would still support his incarceration because the evil he has done to American Democracy would take a long time to remedy, if ever. The other failed democracies through history DID NOT recover (John Adams).
Upon hearing from him such a redemption plan, my first thought would be that it is another duplicitous tactic because his spirit is so corrupted that he is incapable of acquiring Divine Dispensation. I would assume that he has a stratagem afoot to maintain control and continue his scheme to convert America’s current fascistized dictatorship into full-blown Fascism no matter what transpires in 2026 and 2028. He is well aware of Hitler’s and Machiavelli’s Precept on how best to acquire and hold onto power.
Machiavelli’s General Rule: Human beings are ungrateful, fickle, liars, deceivers, fearful, greedy, rotten, a sad lot, faithless, hypocrites, and impressed by the superficial appearance of things. Therefore, to be a great leader, you must be a hypocrite, a great liar, and a concealer of your real self. You must appear to be compassionate, honorable, humane, upright, and especially deeply religious.

There is no act of treachery or meanness of which the true politician – as opposed to the Public Servant — is not capable; for in politics there is no honor. As Sam Johnson said: Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel. There are many among America’s traitors who fly the American flag to assert that they are patriots; nonetheless, in their hearts they fly flags of other nations, e.g., the Confederacy.
The America flag is emblematic of the tenets embodied in:
The Virginia Declaration of Rights; The Declaration of Independence; and The United States Constitution.
The flag represents America as defined at our founding and stands for a Government that is instituted for the common good; for the protection, safety, prosperity, and happiness of the people; and not for profit, honor, or private interest of any one person, (political party), or class of people. Patriotism, therefore, is valid only if it is practiced in keeping with all of the foregoing precepts. The tenets of Fascism are in direct opposition to the FOURTEEN PRINCIPLES OF DEMOCRACY.

Leaders within both parties should openly reject individuals in their parties who make the title of politician a disgrace.
Many of the 77 million people who voted for Trump in 2024 were so effectively deceived that they genuinely thought they were doing the right thing, but now are disenchanted and in a moral quagmire. Those who are morally distressed must forgive themselves for not knowing better in the past times. The 111 million 2024 self-disenfranchisers are also culpable in the assault on democracy. REDEMPTION IS POSSIBLE.
A philosopher said that repentance is as great a mark of grace as not to transgress. Nevertheless, genuine repentance must clearly reflect the better behavior of a corrected life. Individuals often allege repentance, yet never really reform — they resemble people traveling in a dangerous path, who frequently start and stop, but never turn back.
Voting is personally redemptive, as well as patriotic and sacrosanct. A major liberating opportunity awaits Americans at the Midterm Elections, November 3, 2026.
