At an early age, my daughter’s triplets started attending weekly Baha’i children’s classes, initiated and facilitated by a Baha’i couple following years of intensive training to teach these classes. Also included in their training is teacher training and parenting classes, not only to better parent our own children but also the children of the world.
Consequently, the triplets (a boy and two girls), through multiple birth and consistent spiritual training in a multi-cultural setting, are thoroughly indoctrinated into an atmosphere of loving cooperation as opposed to competition as subliminally instilled from infancy in modern day society. In a society that promotes competition; the triplets were not prepared to compete against one another while attempting to participate by sharing equally.
Pageantry and competitions are a popular fundraising method that has been used successfully for many years – but not in the new Revelation of Baha’u’llah (The Baha’i Faith) that forbids campaigning or any attempt to exalt ones self over another for any reason, thus creating the embryonic administrative order for World Peace that is not only possible but inevitable we are are told in the Baha’i Holy Writings.
Many mixed messages have been given throughout time that a maturing mankind, now in young adulthood, is questioning more and accepting less with blind acquiescence; children no long complacently accept the words of those whose deeds differ from them. Nor does any logic remain in waging war to end wars and injustice by others as the physical, spiritual and economic devastation to everyone involved continues to mount and contaminate our world society. Today the one army that will prevail is the army of God Who promises in this new day: “He will come to our aid with invisible hosts and support you with armies of inspiration from the Concourse above…”
The eras of competition, division, selfishness and greed are now ending amid the devastation they have wrought. Surely it is time to Investigate!
