All are invited to the 2nd Women’s Conference: “Never Thirst Again: Encountering Jesus!” at the Spirit of Unity Baptist Church, 193 Updike Lane, Roanoke, where the Rev. Sean D. Burch is pastor. Rev. Dr. Kaiya Jennings, First Baptist Church, Suffolk, VA, will be the guest speaker on Friday, Aug. 22, at 6:00 p.m.
On Saturday, Aug. 23, at 9 a.m., Rev. Dr. Jennings and Rev. Tamika Whitfield, pastor of Little River Missionary Baptist Church, will teach the plenary sessions.
Rev. Tamika Whitfield will serve as worship leader on Friday night. The True Voices of Praise, and special guest soloist, First Lady Miriam Russell of Sweet Union Baptist Church, will bring inspirational selections. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Lunch will be served after Saturday’s class sessions.
The registration fee is $50.00 per person.
