The Third Annual Daisy Art Parade was a huge success! Recently, organizers and participants gathered to celebrate and to award the first ever trophy for the krewe that best exhibited unity and community. “NW Strong” led by the Rev. Dr. R. R. Wilkinson and Sankofa bird art puppets, was awarded the handmade trophy created by Becky Carr.
Funding for the Daisy Art Parade comes from the City of Roanoke and The National Endowment for the Arts.”
