Saturday, May 2, 2026, marked Church Women United’s 5th Annual Love Thy Neighbor Walk. It was a moving time of fellowship, worship, prayer, sharing information and feasting! Thank you to the host fellowships of Bethany Christian Church, Williamson Rd Church of the Brethren, and Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
Walkers learned of tremendous impacts made in our community and ways CWU can support them. Participants prayed and walked in new areas with new friends and old friends; while glorying in the graciousness and goodness of God and the blessing it is to serve Him.
CWU looks forward to carrying everything learned and those met into the future of Church Women United.
Members are grateful for the opportunity to unify in God’s name, testifying to His great and mighty works in Roanoke. Thank you to all those who coordinated this effort, participated by walking, and supported in prayer. CWU is grateful to you!
