On Monday, July 27, 2026, Edith R. Hash celebrated 91years, as God has truly blessed her with long life.
Hash taught her children how to cook, clean and care for the family that God entrusted to them. There was never a favorite child, loving all eight of her children the same. Did they always get it right? No! But believe, they were corrected for their wrongdoings in love.
By the grace of God and with a little help, Hash continues to move around well. She still wears her fishnet stockings and dresses up every day. You will never knock on her door and find her in pajamas.
During the holidays, she first prays over everyone then has her family join hands and tell God what they are thankful for. Her meals are always plentiful including the fourteen pies she prepares so all of her children can take one home, and still have some to serve for dinner.
Mother Hash has always welcomed all friends of her children as her own, and they most affectionately call her Mom, Momma Hash, or simply put, Granny. God will give you children that you didn’t birth because He trusts you to teach them the ways of Christ.
Out of all the siblings on both the Johnson and the Hash sides, Edith R. Hash is the last living sibling. We are so blessed and honored, and don’t take it for granted.
Momma Hash, we celebrate you each and every day, and wish you a very happy birthday, from your family! We Love You Girl!
