It’s almost time for the Candy Cane Express! Join us on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 3-4 for this annual event at the Virginia Museum of Transportation located at 303 Norfolk Ave., SW. Santa will be here to meet and greet the children. There will be Roanoke Chapter of the NRHS train rides behind a historic diesel locomotive, model trains will be up and running; a photo booth, craft activities, Evvie the Elf, and much more. Roanoke County Library will present a holiday story, toys, books and gifts in the museum store and lots and lots of family fun at the Virginia Museum of Transportation, 303 Norfolk Ave SW. Regular admission applies; train rides are an additional $3 per person.
