Cast Member of “Smokey Joe’s Cafe” awarded City Star

Opening night of “Smokey Joe’s Cafe” brought a surprise to one of the talented cast members, Fenner R. Eaddy, who was presented the Star City from the Roanoke Chapter Girlfriends by President Janice Burks for his stellar performances in “42nd Street and Smokey Joe’s Cafe at the Mill Mountain Theater.

On hand for the occasion were: GFs Francine McLaughlin, Saundra Butcher, Janice Burks and BF Emmett Larry Butcher.  Fenner is the son of Saundra and Larry Butcher.

Mill Mountain Theater brought together some of the most talented artists from across the country who showcased their dancing and singing the songs of Leiber & Stroller in Smokey Joe’s Cafe.

Roslyn Steele, a previous cast member of 42nd Street, returned to star in the production as Brenda.

Fenner Eaddy will return to Mill Mountain’s production of “White Christmas” in November 2016.
