The Roanoke Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. held its Annual Ecumenical Breakfast at the Airport Holiday Inn on Saturday, Aug. 20. With the theme “Reclaimed, Renewed, Rededicated,” the Ecumenical Breakfast kicks off the sorority year of public service projects and activities.
First Vice President, Tanisha Nash served as Mistress of Ceremony for the occasion. Other Deltas on program included Gloria Manns, Dawn Board, Connie Steele, Danielle Burks, Myra Allen, Ora Dickerson and Siclinda Canty-Elliott. President Monica Callaway gave her Presidential Address and introduced the chairpersons for this year’s Five Point Programs.
Following the breakfast, a “Rededication Ceremony” was led by Saron McEnheimer and the Membership Services Committee. Deltas left the breakfast with a renewed sense of sisterhood and rededication to provide public service for the Roanoke Valley.
