Northside High School graduate, Jason Taylor was awarded two scholarships from local Masonic Groups. Illustrious Potentate Demare Gill, Sr. and Dr. John Vernon, Honorary Past Potentate, recorder, and chairman of the Scholarship Committee of Aladdin Temple #111 presented Jason with a $500 scholarship.
Bernard Johnson, State Director of VA Knights of Pythagoras (KOP), Tonya Weaver president of Roanoke Council ES Brown # Parents Club, and VA KOP advisor Shawn Pemberton awarded Jason with a $250 scholarship.
