The regular monthly meeting of the Loudon Melrose Neighborhood Organization, Inc. will be held at 6:30 p.m., February 18, at Republic Services (formerly BFI) located at 341 Loudon Ave., NW.

Please mark your calendars and plan to attend this important meeting. The City of Roanoke will be spending a lot of money (CDBG funds) in our community over the next 5 years. As residents, businesses and churches in the neighborhood, you should attend these meetings to know what is going on and have some input in what you would like to see happen to improve the quality of life in the Melrose/Orange project area.

In the event of inclement weather, this meeting will be canceled. Looking forward to seeing you at this meeting and others to follow.

The LMNO meets the third Thursday of each month at this same address. Please come join in these important community sessions.

Norma B. Wade is LMNO, Inc. president
