The Roanoke Valley Breakfast Lions Club will welcome Emma Duff as the guest speaker for its Wednesday, March 4 meeting.
In 2024, Duff joined the Virginia Department of Health, where she serves as the Population Health Planning and Improvement Coordinator for the Roanoke City and Alleghany Health Districts. Born and raised in Roanoke, she is passionate about improving health and wellbeing in her community.
Duff spent the first part of her career managing international HIV clinical trials in sub-Saharan Africa, Germany, and the Republic of Georgia. In her current role, she supports the Community Health Assessment and Community Health Improvement planning processes throughout the Roanoke City and Alleghany Health Districts.
