Pollution’s Perilous Effects . . .

Pollution continuously remains of primary concern within this nation in particular as well as among others with numerous federal, state and local regulatory agencies subsequently formulated to address, monitor and control its various forms of effect on our air, land, rivers, lakes and seas. However no such governmental or other clearly discernible regulatory agencies have, nor possibly could be formed to effectively deal with the most detrimental of all pollutants–mind pollution, as it comes in so many forms and dimensions. The soul of our nation hinges on living the values that honor the worth and dignity of every person and the willingness to defend the liberty and justice of all. That is why a New York Times story published on Sunday, October 21 of this year is so disconcerting. The Times reported that a Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) memo they obtained that contains information on efforts to narrow the definition of a person’s sex under Title IX to being male or female, unchangeable, and determined by the genitals that a person is born with. Exploring Hallowe’en history & customs

(As Hallowe’en has never been a welcome observance for me from childhood due to the many dangerous (and sometimes deadly) pranks and other demonic tricks associated with it, I have chosen to share the following article that in some way addresses my life-long fears it engenders entitled . . .
