The Marcus M. Wilson Scholarship Fund is proud to announce its 2025-2026 scholarship recipients, continuing the commitment to supporting the academic journeys of Roanoke City students.
This year’s honorees are Hannah Daniels, a graduate of William Fleming High School, and Bryce Penn, a graduate of Patrick Henry High School.
Hannah Daniels will be attending Old Dominion University, where she plans to major in International Business. She is the daughter of Chasity Crouse, who shares in the pride of Hannah’s achievements and future aspirations.
Bryce Penn will be attending Ferrum College, where he will major in Sports Medicine & Exercise Science with a dedication to his studies and long-term goals. Bryce plans to continue his education through a master’s degree program. He is the son of Bridgette Bentley, who shares in the pride of Bryce’s achievements and future aspirations.
Hannah and Bryce will begin the next chapter of their educational journeys. Their hard work, determination, and vision for the future embody the spirit of the Marcus M. Wilson Scholarship Fund.
For the past 15 years, the Marcus M. Wilson Scholarship Fund has proudly invested in the futures of Roanoke City students. To date, the fund has awarded 57 scholarships, offering encouragement, financial support, and opportunities for young people to pursue higher education.
